About Me

5-25-2016
My name is David Matthew Mooney. I am a 69-y-old freelance science editor with agency Cactus Global, helping to provide the Editage service. I have a BSc in Engineering Chemistry from Queen's, Kingston, in Canada; a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Ottawa, Canada; and a certificate for the Science of Well-being course by Yale University, Connecticut, USA. Below is a page of my notes from organic chemistry class under Prof. Saul Wolf, circa 1974.

Please find my PhD thesis here (first two pages are blank): <http://www.nlc-bnc.ca/obj/s4/f2/dsk3/ftp04/NQ66175.pdf>.
I am using my degrees, but in a career path that is non-traditional for a PhD. I use all three of my names on all Internet contributions to better distinguish myself from others, because there were 7.35 billion people when I started this blog. I live in Ottawa, Canada, and I collected fossils as a teenager.
